ps5 players and those with ssds, how bad are the loading screens for you?

I'm on an ssd and whenever i exit, its always a black screen for like 30 seconds, the deathloop logo for like 20 or so, and then its to the results screen that tells me what i know already and then i can finally select my leads and loadout. is it like this for ps5 players? what about anyone else with an ssd? genuinely curious here.

I´m playing on a 870 samsung SSD and no black screen, only the Deatthloop logo for like 5-10 seconds and back to the mission/loadout screen.

I have a nvme ssd and it takes like 30 seconds to load maps, it’s ridiculous

Loading into the game from the home menu of the PS5 to the main menu takes about 10-15 seconds or so? Loading a map only takes about 5 seconds, while going back to the prep screen is near instant.

Weird. I´m using a SATA ssd (samsung 870) and loading a map only takes 10-ish seconds.

really wanted this on PC but after reading about all the technical BS I said forget it and got it on PS5 instead. And....it's awesome. Super fast loading, pretty much locked 60fps. My faith in PC is being tested lol.

It varies some maps take 30 seconds, the beach takes 10 ish seconds to load.

if you lock the pc version to 60 too it runs fine, the engine is stupid. digital foundry found the same frame pacing issues in the ps5 version if you turn on rt in the game.

Same issue as OP, with an SSD too but worse. Sometimes the black screen stays for litteraly 3 or 4 minutes I have time to cook an egg before going back to the menu

ctrl-alt-delete then enter back into the game. forces it to actually load right away for me. i heard alt-tab works too. going to try that today. janky as ♥♥♥♥

Game installed on SSD, avarage loading time around 8 seconds i would say. It takes extra 5-10 seconds, if i am getting invaded by a human player, it seems like.
