Asobo doesn't give a ♥♥♥♥ about this game!
Screw them! At this point in time the game is a complete failure especially at this price point, none of the airliners are useable! Just give us back our money! You don't care about the game! Milked us and with every update it only gets worse! Bugs buys bugs! Can't believe a game owned by Microsoft can be this bad! Screw Microsoft and asobo!

They should have named this game " Microsoft Flight Simulator Bugfest" :steamsalty:

Saying that Asobo doesn't care isn't an accurate statement, it seems you don't keep in the loop on the official forums. This thread was made purely out of frustration which I can understand.

I would not say that they don't care but they do suck at development of a flight simulator. It's really bad because they had a good deal of stuff given to them.

Edit
I don't understand why they won't fix simple bugs. Like editing a .xml file that would take 5 minutes.

As with virtually all flight sims what really is going to make MSFS shine are the addons. For example the Airfoillabs Cessna 172 is loads better than the LR one. I don't have the SimCoders one but I'm sure it too is miles better. Also, the weather in XP is terrible, even Active Sky has issues with it. I have Active Sky for both XP and P3D and the one for P3D is miles better.

Worth remembering XPlane was a mess when it released too. Just sayin. :-)

For a whole lot less money for a whole lot less. Just saying :)

XPlane had auto-rudder hardwired into the basic Cessna aircraft. It simply could not be removed, no matter what settings were changed or numbers adjusted on the control. I tried everything and finially just gave up. I purchased rudders specifically to fly the simulator with more realism, and they meant nothing in XPlane, except for taxing.

Xplane has been out for how long?
MSFS2020 has been out for how long?

Give it time

I get the frustration, really i do, but as a long time player of simulators i can attest that this is normal.

These are huge projects with limited returns (Flighsim will never sell like a Cawadoody game, that's just a fact), so it's sadly quite normal for them to come out undercooked, and needing some time to hit their stride. It comes with the territory.

This is why i didn't uninstall FSX when FS2020 came out, i knew from experiance that FS2020 is going to be a rough ride for a while.

This time though, there is a snag we have to content with, namely that for whatever reason, Microsoft thinks it's a good idea to port this to Consoles, and Asobo is no doubt obligated to work on that instead of focusing all their attention on patches, so we may have to arm ourselves with some patience i'm afraid.

Hehe. Yeah - perhaps. But these things (flight sims) are, more often than not, long term prospects. They are off to a rough start but, at least for me, the last patch showed some improvements. So I'm just being cool and patient for now.
