7900xtx with 24gb VRAM and my old 6900xt which has 16gb VRAM, so this is not the problem.
For me the game akways crashes when i use one of the two available "inside car" perspectives/views, after a few seconds the game crashes back to desktop with both graphic cards and latest drivers,
So this indicates that there is clearly a problem which is caused by the game at some point because i actually never have any game crashes, also not with early access or any other games, not even during a Alpha/Beta phase.
Second, try underclocking your graphics card. Combining the first point with the second, no games crash for me anymore.
Third, watch your temperatures. Set the fan speeds higher.
Tried a bunch of stuff to try and fix it but it just seems random.
Rx 5700XT and R5 5600X, Game plays fine at medium 1440p with quality FSR, like 50 - 60 fps, don't notice dips which is the main thing, I wish it looked a bit better at those settings, just some small issues like shadows, the ghosting, textures can look a little off sometimes not sure what it is.
The 370z, the sun screen around the front window can sort of phase in and out of normal looking and terrible looking blurred, no idea why its doing that, only using like 5 - 6GB of vram so still some available to use, its like culling it to save vram but its a lil annoying as it right there in my face, phasing in and out of good looking > terrible looking.
Im using an Asus VQ27 HDR monitor, 1440p 165hz.
Frame-generation (can be troublesome) on and off --> no difference
GPU-Z: VRAM usage in game monitored ~11GB --> 16GB VRAM available = I rule that out
All parameters actually in range with no spike.
RTX 4080 GPU Temp in-game in 5k/DLSS quality around on Ultra = 55-65 (water cooled) = I rule overheating out
i9 10900X 4.7GHZ CPU Temp = 60-63 (water cooled) = I rule over heating out
I disabled the per NVIDIA declared SAFE RTX AUTO-Tuning off = Let's see if that does the trick
Thanks !! This was my problem because I overclockt my GPU and it crashed every time and now i fixed it by set it to almost default.
