Game crashing after nvidia driver upgrade to 560.70

Upgraded the GPU driver before launching the game. Unfortunately it seems the new driver crashes the game at ~24% of loading into a map. Happens both in vanilla and with mods.
Tried to delete both Shader cache of the game and the global nvidia cache, but this doesn't solve the issue.
Any other ideas?

I am having the same problem with a 3080. At one point my log showed a error code as the last item. Here is what came up when I googled it. https://www.makeuseof.com/windows-dxgi-error-device-hung-error/ I have only tried a couple of things so far and nothing has worked so far, perhaps if someone with a bigger brain looks at the link maybe they can sort it out. For now I am just going to rollback the driver.

you will need probably only to change D3D from 12 to 11 thats what i did in the game.xml in game folder.

3080TI, same issue. Clean install of the Nvidia drivers didn't do anything.

EDIT:

DX11 does work, but the game hitches. Odd. Would be interested on why that change makes a difference after the driver update.

So you haven't gotta look anything up, you just need to change the game.xml file in your Documents/My Games/FarmingSimulator2022 folder. Edit the line that contains <renderer>D3D_12</renderer> to <renderer>D3D_11</renderer>

I experienced the same problem. RTX 4090 and the game crashes at about 23 to 25%. I reverted back to 556.12 and it is working again. For me, dropping back to DX 11 was not something I was willing to do with a current gen card.

DX-11 only works to a limited extent because the game stutters and crashes after a short time

I did a few tests:
My 2080 works fine on Windows 11 and latest Nvidia drivers.
My 3080 and 4090 both crashes using same setup, and I have no intention of rolling back drivers on any of my machines.

Surely a "fix" will emerge soon, ohh, and I'm running Ryzen 9 5950X on all systems.
