Whats the differences between this game and 19
Just curious because i started watching someone play farming sim 22 on youtube and now i really want to play it. I noticed 22 has seasons in it which i think would be really cool to play with but farming sim 19 is just a lot more affordable for me.

If i wanted to buy 19 i could get it right now if i wanted to but id have to wait a month or two if i wanted to get 22. And because i really have an itch to play one of these farming sim games i was kind of thinking to just get farming sim 19 since its a lot cheaper and i can afford it now.

But im still curious what 22 has more over 19 before i choose to buy anything. Thanks in advance for any answers

You can get Seasons on FS19 as a mod if you wanted to. One difference I know of is 22 has Productions Chains feature which are factories and bakeries you can buy that then produce other things you can sell once you supply them with the needed ingredients. Thats what I'm doing and I do find it a lot more fun then growing and then just straight selling the crops like I did before. To each their own of course.
And got to add that the Seasons mod in 19 is, to my mind at least, a better implementation than the seasons system the put in 22. Also you could do production in 19 with Global whatever it was called couldn't you? Never tried that myself.

You could be totally correct that 19 had production as well, I never got to that point nor do I remember it being a thing. It was new to me once I bought 22

You will get a lot of fun out of FS19, just go for it if money is tight.
I just bought FS22 a week ago and I am liking it as well.
But it's no revolution.

It was with the Global Company mod but as I said I never tried it so I can't say how good it was.

As for FS22's seasons - "Hey Giants - TRACKS IN SNOW for heavens sake" :steammocking:

My issue with Seasons is the tree and snow graphic flickering at the speed of light once fall/winter hit. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ its annoying.

Well, could just be me, but I think the graphics are way better! However, having not play FS19 in a bit, who knows. I do miss fs19. The modders really are ignoring the small equipment market in fs22. I'm missing all the sub compact equipment, landscape equipment and other great things no one ported over to FS22. I think there was a big miss in making FS22 not directly comparable with FS19 mods. Personally, Not sure FS22 is worth it unless more modders update their amazing FS19 creations to FS22. There's no life changing differences I'm aware of.

EDIT: I just loaded FS19, and some of my fav mods. Honestly? Graphics are horrible, but no doubt, FS22 just seems to run smoother, better feel, better graphics, better sounds, and just a better experience! FS19 feels a little dated now. I did enjoy cutting grass on all the smaller sub compact tractors missing from FS22.

FS22 has more options, like total field management, that FS19 doesn't have (unless modded in). Additionally it just has more base content (More vehicles, more options on the vehicles, vanilla processing, more "filled out" maps, etc). It makes it a more engaging experience. Contracts can now be multi-step processes, and when you make a change (like adding a sell point) the Contracts take those into consideration (is your Farmers Market buying Hay Bales at a slightly higher price than the Animal Dealer? Contracts can have them sell there instead). Contracts have also been tweaked so missing a few specks of grain, or a single bale of silage, doesn't lock you out from completing them. Often you end up with a nice bonus for the excess products you harvest from another persons fields. Price fluctuations now make more sense (why would the price go up when no one needs a product, or down when people are trying to stockpile a product for a non-growing season?) and there are a LOT more products to sell with production chains. Instead of selling the wheat grain, why not buy the mill and make flour, buy the bakery and make fresh bread and then sell it to the local Grocery store for increased profits?

There are also more crops and growing methods....

In short; FS22 has everything FS19 had with a whole lot more on top of it. The graphics aren't a huge step up, but they are a bit better. And you have a lot more customization options to make the gameplay as difficult, or as easy, as you want.
