It's never too late to farm bugged

So I hadn't played this game in a very long time and just recently got sucked back into it. Lucky for me the last time I played was over a year ago and I decided I wanted to start a new save anyway. I looked at achievements and wound up looking up a guide on what each one actually is because the descriptions suck. Upon finding out that the achievement "It's never too late to farm" was triggered by loading a year old save file I loaded my old file. Nothing. Okay, well, I decided to save to see if that triggered it. Nothing. Then I got pissed after being robbed so I set the date on my computer to 2021, created a new save, set my date back to the appropriate time, loaded it and.... nothing. Any ideas?

1. Create a savegame (it can be one you have created before).

2. Set your status to “offline” from Steam. (Friends and chat)

3. Set your Computer date to +1 year. If today 5.12.21 > Set to 7.12.21

4. Open Farming Simulator 22

5. Load your savegame.

6. As soon as map loads, and you press Start, achievement should pop up.

As a note, the information I've found about this is a bit dated so Giants may have done something to stop things from working.

I've done that. It doesn't work.

Hell, I literally loaded a save that I had legitimately had not played in over a year and that didn't work.

Jesus Christ I'm an imbecile. I just figured out why it wasn't working. I already have that achievement. I got it back in jun 2022.

Alternatively, while your game is closed go to your save game file found in your documents folder find the file called:

"careerSavegame.xml" and open it with a simple text editor...

within the tags:

<creationDate>2024-02-23</creationDate>

just set this to

<creationDate>2023-02-23</creationDate>

Then save the file.

Load up FS22 and the achievement should pop on load of the save...

You don't need to mess around with your system date settings or anything like that its just a single line.
