How to water sheep

I'm starting sheep with a small, fenced area. They need water and i can't find a way to get it to them. Do I have to buy water? There is a building on the farm with a water spiqot, but does it work? Is there a container to collect it in? Thanks!! i have the mod that is supposed to water them but their water trough appears to be empty. I have a water tanker, but can't find a place to fill it.

buy a trailor that can hold water, fill it up at the water source(spigot or a lake), drive to the fill spot and the icon will pop up to water them. The trailors that can hold water can be found under the animal category in the store.

Thanks. I'm playing on Elmcreek. Are there water spiqots at the animal place? I've driven all over trying to find one or a lake I can get to. Thanks!!!

There is that one on the farm, another one up north somewhere I think(but could be thinking about a different map) and you can get free water from the lake.
