Can't complete cotton harvest contract for field 34 due to cotton stuck in harvester itself

I guess you can go in and edit an XML file in your savegame, but my files are empty, saying something about cloud storage.
Either way, its a little frustrating to have to go in and edit game files...but you press Y, right? Up at the spinnery, next to the dumping location in the harvester itself, pressing Y, and just nothing happens. I don't know which number is which in regards to how full the harvester is but the top number says 25% and the bottom says 77% (with the little bale icon next to it).
Maybe I'm doing something wrong...there's no prompts or anything but yeah all the cotton is accounted for except for what's left stuck inside the harvester.

Any ideas?

This seems to be a common bug with the 1.9 update. I too, have this problem. Apparently the devs know about it but so far, no fix. Reverting to the previous version worked for me, except some mods don't work.

I would just use easy dev and either fill the harvester so it gives a bale or spawn a bale to complete.

Really appreciate this. I've installed easy dev and have been trying to fill the truck but I just keep getting the "request failed" message. Are you able to fill leased vehicles?
Not sure what I might be doing wrong, but have the truck on a flat surface in the middle of nowhere in particular, I reset it by moving it (its completely empty) but just can't manage to fill it.
I know its only 10 grand here, but cmon it was a decent sized job here!

Just stand in the right spot near the Spinnery and spawn a bale. The factory should do the rest
