Hardware for max settings
Does anyone know what hardware is required to run Farming Simulator 22 at highest graphics settings at 4K/60fps without frame drops and other issues? Is a RTX 3060 enough or do I need 3070 or even better? CPU? RAM?

If there is someone who is already running the game on max settings, please list what hardware you have!

Thank you!

I have 10900k and RTX 3080 and play maxed out. Using a 1440p 144Hz monitor FPS limited to 72 from the driver. (never saw a need for anything higher in this game)

Running 23 Mods currently and did see a drop to about 64 for a few seconds when courseplay and autodrive were trying to figure things out.

Oddly enough, I checked and was never using more than 10-15% CPU and ~25-30% GPU even when the frames dropped a bit. Honestly, if I didn't have the FPS counter on at the time, I wouldn't have even noticed. I think any problems like that lie with the games engine rather than your hardware, for the most part.

Great to hear! Thanks. Now I just wonder if anyone is running it maxed out on 3070 as well or if I need a 3080 just to be safe.

I can run this at 4k.. I saw absolutely no benefit of doing this though, 1440p is just "as good". I play at the highest settings and hit a nice stable frame rate. I have a 4k TV as my monitor so it is locked to 60Hz.

But the engine will cause stutters anyway, it really doesn't matter how powerful your system is, it will still have some lag. They aren't "game breaking" or anything, just little stutters here and there (normally when you tab between vehicles or something). I mean the game has an issue on initial launch where you will get lag anyway so it is deffo the engine causing most of these not the hardware it is running on.

I have a i9 9900k with a 3070ti, I mean I started running this game absolutely fine on a 1070ti (admittedly that was on a 1080p monitor), so I wouldn't go out and buy a high end card for this game. I bought my 3070ti to play Microsoft Flight Simulator.

Thanks for all the answers! But I'm a little skeptical that it works with GTX1080. I have a 2080ti and experience a lot of lag at 4k/60. Im thinking about going with a 3080 or 4070.

Well if you have already decided why bother asking people for their opinions?

LOL Just thought I test to see how this game runs in 4k on my rig.. turns out I have been playing in 4k all this time anyway, I was sure I set it to 1440p... Goes to show makes no real difference to me.
