Horse Training Facility - How do I fill the facility with hay, oats, and straw?
I used a machine from the Animal Trailer section for shredding straw at the open side of the horse training facility, but the straw shredder only works on straw, not hay.

Please tell me which machine I have to use to load hay into the horse training facility.
The blue icon inside the horse training facility does not allow me to drop hay on the blue load icon either.

I have three fields of sorghum growing for the horses, chickens, silo, flour, and bread.
Does the horse training facility only take oats?

Allowing the horses only to eat oats and not sorghum will set me back at least one year in getting the horse training facility operational.

I also tried using JUST hay in the cow's T.M.R. mixer ;(

The hay mixed, but would not load into the horse training facility.

I unloaded the hay into my bunker compost for my orchard and greenhouses.

I found out on my own that there is a "BUY" icon at the bottom left.

I bought all the hay and the rest of the straw. The oats are so expensive I will grow the oats next year.

Purchasing Horses

I went to purchase horses at the animal dealer with the Horse Facility Trailer M.O.D.
What a waste of a trip. The Horse Facility Trailer M.O.D. would not pick up horses at the animal dealer. The reason the Facility Horse Trailer does not have an "R" button for "Open Animal Dialog." I had to make a second trip with a horse trailer that would work.

After picking up the horses at the animal dealer, in a regular horse trailer. I went straight to the Horse Training Facility with the newly purchased horses. What a pain dropping the two horses off in the field.

After dropping the two horses off at the Training facility, the two horses did not show up in the Horse Training Facility.

So how long do I have to wait for the horses to be put into the training facility?
Maybe 100% healthy? Or is it a monthly issue? As well are the prices adjusted with the now price M.O.D.?

It's been awhile since I've used that mod, but if I remember correctly, I used bales and moved them inside. I think I used a small dump truck for the oats.

You need a regular trailer to move your horses to the training facility and the modded one to haul the trained horses from the training facility to the riding hall to sell them off.

If you wait 22 months, I think gives you the most "litres" of input. I can't remember totally, but I think that will not even spit out one trained horse, which makes me wonder what kind of training they are doing.

If I remember correctly, a fully trained horse sells for pretty good money, but I found that the money was easier to earn other ways

There is a reason I have not used that mod in awhile. I used the crap out of animal input extension for my meat packing facility, but only used the training facility till I realized it wasn't worth the work.

I am finding the same thing as you DeckerDave1973 the MOD of the Horse Training Facility is not worth it. There is a new MOD to adjust the price per horse to $50,000 a horse, at the stable. I was hoping I would also see an adjustment in the horse training facility prices as well.

I have OVER half a million dollars invested in this project and I want to see it completed and working daily.

So I am going to grow oats for next year and use a tipper to fill the oats into the facility.
Then buy the hay and straw

I will have to wait until the horses are 22 months old and I will try again.
The horse will be worth twenty thousand to fifty thousand each and I will have fourteen horses. So I hope the facility operates properly when I move horses.

The first two young horses were deleted; I will miss you Shiver and Nifty ;(

The cost of "Buying" all my Oats is about $250 thousand. So I am growing. The cost per horse at the stable will also be $50 thousand with the new MOD, which is the same as one horse trained at the Horse Training Facility. I hope the MOD for the prices of horses includes all MODs, not just the base game. :gwent_gg:
