What courseplay should i get ?

Just started playing FS22 again and was wondering what the best courseplay mod out there is as theres quite a few and the one i tried was rubbish.

Theres only one courseplay mod, so idk what you mean with which one to get?

Do not get the one from Giants ModHub it will not be regularly updated nor should you get it from a dodgey third party site either. I do not know why they even put it on ModHub, waste of time IMO. Go direct to their GitHub and get the latest version.

If you are used to courseplay from older FS versions, you will want to pick up autodrive as well. The two work together like the old school courseplay.

modhub courseplay is updated as i have recently done it

Ive been using courseplay from mod hub no major issues with its use. I do not use auto drive with it.

Only issue I had was trying to move saved courses into other folders. Folders and courses were deleted and went missing. Not sure what that was all about. No big deal for me I just generate again.

This makes literally 0 sense. The modhub version will get updated just as much?
You have to manually update in any case?

You have to manually update in any case?

--> dont trust the modhub .... update by yourself and you are good.
at the moment there are no updates .... but there was a time you had to update every 2nd day

I think the comment was more for info that its the same as the modhub.
I would also encourage using the github link, rather than waiting for the updates on modhub.

Old courseplay did one thing I like better was offloading moving combines better

Maybe I’m doing something wrong but autodrive just doesn’t offload while moving as well

I've not found it too bad, but then I never used it in F19 so I don't have anything to compare it to.

It is a bit slow to get along side you so on small fields it never catches up and it will stop if you have left even a single uncut stalk in its path (it seems to ignore the "avoid fruit" setting entirely when in follow mode) and it does have trouble maintaining a steady speed but generally as long as you don't drive too fast and stay reasonably straight it seems to work ok.
