can't wait for self propelled vegetable harvester with hopper
in a sense just like the big beet and potato harvesters, with a storage hopper.
I'm sure it's coning.

yes, was impossible to use. Then I read something about taking off the swather mod and now it works just fine. I hire a worker on that and I just run along side with a wagon.
very time consuming but works just as it should.

Thank goodness because I was dumping all the crop and picking it up with the Ropa Maus mod. That Ropa Tiger mod makes life so much better.

Thanks, I was holding off with the new crops until something like this came along :)

Those are unrealistic. The new crops do not need to be topped like the grimme does for potatos and sugar beets.

The new crops are in row ridges and you need a harverster and digs under the rows to pull them out like the ones in the expansion.

That´s not fully true, there exist top lifters as well as sivering harvesters for the carrots. It´s "gentler" for not damaging the fruit to use a top lifter, but unter circumstances (early frost and stuff) the green topping turns too soft and would rip apart, in those cases you use a sivering one.

But those shown here are still unrealistic, too fast, too wide. Mlody98 from giants Modhub said he would add carrots to his Grimme Maxtron, that would be a working realistic choice.

Awesome thanks for the info. I will look up the msxtron mod and keep an eye on it.

There are also rumors (i for myself could not find the original source) that on the agritechnica a member of dewulf shall have stated that the dewulf r3060 might also come with a delay. But i would not put my hand into fire for that, it´s just an info that floated around in giants forums.

youre support to let ai do the harvesting, then drive a tractor+trailer yourself to catch the crop as the vegetable harvester does not have a storage

Yes I'm aware of what you're supposed to do but we all know how bad the helpers are and maybe I prefer to drive the harvester myself. Since the harvester has no capacity it makes more sense to set it to 'unload here' and drop the crop and then pickup with any modded vehicle that can pick up 'bulk' like the modded Ropa Maus. Thankfully a modded sugar beet harvester is a more efficient use of my time.
