this i know, but i really not expect 3 fields and other hills and rivers
Tens of fields an forestry, no problems.
If you for example take one of the "corner farms" on Elm creek and replace it with a forest. You got both, or even take a little more than that. Replace some of the grassfields on the Alpine map in the mountainous areas and you have a wonderful mix too.
I don't want 100 of fields in sizes from small to large. But three... That's just too few for an official map. They could have balanced the forestry vs farms much better in my eyes. Instead of 95-5 they could have gone 70-30.
But I understand them, they wish to showcase the new forestry equipment and vehicles. The map look great and will probably more fun than I think (at this time). I just wish there were more pre-made fields. So I could do forestry in autumn and winter and contract work for NPC-Owners during summer.
Relax forest farming is still farming, the plants are just bigger and the grow period longer.
Yeah I would say this kind of map is really needed, where you can start something from absolute scratch on a official well build map, there is great mod maps, but there is lack of attention to detailing on most mod maps.
Glad we can finally get a official no mans land style map.
I mean, say no more really.
