Making planks?
Anyone knows how to make planks? I dont see a production building for it but the carpentry does take planks.

Yeah just figured this one out. So you can't build your own sawmill in the base game, you have to buy the sawmill on the map for $100,000 which can make planks. The carpentry can take wood or planks (or both).

yea well im playing on a custom map which doesnt have that. Welp. But good to know thanks^^

If you don't mind mods there is one called carpenter factory that takes wood chips and turns them into planks. I was just playing around with it and it seemed to work pretty good.
