You could spam soybeans. Good money, very boring.

Heh, my way is always slow. First thing I do is buy a decent combine (about 10k ltr), '6 header, mid-range medium tractor (around 250hp), and a wagon, and then do harvest contracts to build up money towards the rest of what I need.

But with FS22 I have noticed the roads are a lot smaller so have also had to buy a header trailer just to get around the map with my combine doing contracts.

I usually have to end up also taking out a 100k to 200k loan to even achieve that, or if I'm just feeling particularly generous with myself, but I make that the priority to pay off before anything else.

After that, my priority list is to buy a corn header to increase the variety of contracts I can do, then a patch of land, then a silo, then a farm house and work my way up from there....

An inconcievably slow play style for most, but the most satisfying for me as there's always goals and achievements, each just out of reach from the other, but very doable.

Nice, well slow is the way to go, atleast in start from scratch. I restarted my save game many times, but couldnt find a proper way to get it started. Im going to keep this in mind, thanks!

I found the best way to do start from scratch is either start with silage on a small spot of land or flip fields that are ready for harvest and sell the yield. Just keep doing this till you build up capital to do something else that can make you more cash.

just "spam" generators. like solar panels and wind blades. skin days until you have money for build another and another. i make 100k\day only with solar panels (1 big panel cost 100k euros)

if your starting from scratch. the best way to make money after contracts is to buy the smallest lot you can, own the cheepest frontloader and pallet forks, a water cart, and one of the smallest bail trailer conversions, then build as many greenhouses you can with the money you have left. that will print you lots of money to get started.

outside of that in proper farming, it goes, sugar cain. grass to silage, corn to silage, sugar beats, potatoes, grapes with raisins or cereal. soguham to flower, then soybeans.

other moneymakers are small grain of barley to feed chickens, and then grass for hay and silage for cows with the straw so you can get the manuer for sale at the bga. as well as milk. those investments make you tones of money.
you can also do enough contracts to own a chainsaw and a pickup, then go around and cut down trees to sell. that will let you start faster.

Many consider field flipping to either be an outright cheat or at least considered an exploit.

if you're using seasonal growth, don't bother with herbicide or fertilizer. Get a weeder, mower, and grassland roller instead. After harvesting your cash crop, plant grass. Before cultivating and planting next year, mow and roll the grass. This will give you two application's worth of fertilization. After your crops sprout, use the weeder.

I pay the bank back first of all. I may only have 300k to start with but not having that loan overhead is easier. A few harvesting contracts with borrowed tools and no workers hired and off you go.
