Harvester Controls

While operating harvesters, I see controls that adjust the rotating blades (dunno what they're really called) on the header. do those controls have an impact on the actual harvest? Is there some benefit raising, or lowering, etc., the harvester? I've messed around with it to test, but I haven't seen a difference lol.

It's called the reel. That's all I know haha. Not sure if in fs there's any benefit or why they do it irl, may be only for easy maintaining for clogs. But I'm just guessing, there's gonna be someone on here that has real answers for your reel question

Its just for roll play. There's no benefit or drawback to the reels position when harvesting
