Train station silo as free storage space?
Are there any drawbacks if you use the train station silo as storage space? I kinda bugs me if I can store my grains there for free... storage isn't cheap in the real world and why invest in a silo if you can just put the goods there?

no downside, on erlengrat you have 2 which hold a total of 300-400k liters each if i remember correct

what makes it even greater is that u can decide to dump it all on a train from the silo after waiting for the right price spike, or just back in a trailer again if u need it. so in a way its better than a personal build silo

there are a number of things that aren't realistic if you take advantage of them, like buying a field ready for harvest then selling it back after. i find my enjoyment increases if i set my own rules and follow them. for example, one fruit type per silo bin, no field flipping, perishable goods must be sold the month they are produced, etc.
