why can't i seem to download mods from {LINK REMOVED}sharemods.com? everytime i try to download mods from that site it comes up saying blocked as unsafe by microsoft edge

they are safe if its from the mod maker it self and they did upload it

Just cause somethings published by an author that looks legitimate, doesn't mean it is. Anyone can copy a name, most of those 3rd party sites don't care what goes on since usually they are making money off of it.

The advertisers on their site are known for serving up malware. And their advertisers are very aggressive. Any quick search of the Internet for is sharemodsdotcom safe will let you know. I wouldn't trust anything from them.

Thank you for all your input, I’ve got other mods by the creator but these specific ones only seem to be on sharemods. Is there any way around the browser not letting me download them?

sharemods has always loaded fine for me most of the mods i use on ETS2 are shared on there so must be your firewall settings are super high

Okay, thank you. Where would I edit settings for that? Would it be in mcafee or on the browser?
