Weird Straw Bale Bug (Help Needed)
My dad was having issues with straw bales so I went into the map he was having issues with, and it did the wonky stuff you can find in this short video below

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_mK-b7-nYhU

If anyone can help let me know, I'm not sure if it's just a map issue. For reference, the map is called "Gnadenthal Crossplay V1.0" If any further info is need, let me now and I'll provide.

Is the balesfork tool a mod? Looking at the movement of the bale and balesfork, they seem to be somewhat connected.

@magicISO Sweden It seems to be modded maps only, tested on elm creek and it doesn't seem to happen

@Nasder All pieces of equipment are vanilla game in the video. So That likely isn't the issue.

Does it happen on all modded maps, or just that specific one?

I haven't tested that myself, but my dad did seem to have the issue on another modded map that he tried.

Are there any mod involved besides the map?

on my dad's end no, basically a clean install besides the map.

sounds like a mod conflict or a mod that create this

I think so too, but if there are no mods besides the map, it makes me think the modded map is doing something more than just providing a map.

Checking the mod hub, Gnadenthal is a 4x map and is currently at version 1.5.

So I'd recommend updating the map if 1.0 is used but it recommends a new game save.

Just downloaded and tried it for myself, problem exist in 1.5 too. Now going to test other map with same tools

Done testing. Problem is the map and/or mod required for the map.

Tested 1.5 and had the same issue.
I tested on my test map and had the same problem with mods.
Tested elm creek without mods, no problem.
Removed map and required mods, still had my old mods no problem.

Problem exist on seperate modded map.

Now testing elm creek without mods.

No mods on elm creek work as intended.
yeah seems like there are some weird stuff going on with some modded maps out there. I'm not sure if it applies to every single modded map, but it does seem to affect some, which I find weird. Hopefully it won't be an issue on 25.

You replied as I did my final edit of my previous post. Problem is the map itself and/or the required mods. Once I removed those my issues went away. I can't say if you're able to run the map without the two required mods.

I'd guess it's the required mods and mot the map itself but I am not sure. Don't know enough about modding and finding errors with mods to single one out.

yeah its the map and the mods that needed for the map that is the problem did test it my self no other maps with out those mods that needed for that one create that problem find a new cool map and do what the other person say take out the map and the two two required mods and you are fine

Are those two mods actually required and you're using them? If none you can remove them from the (i think) map.xml and you're good to go with the map.

There should be a "dependencies" line at the top of the file listing the mods required, if you delete those it won't ask for them anymore.
