My brand new Winch

I'm playing No Man's Land. I needed a winch but saw I had to purchase the Platinum DLC to make the winch available. I'm addicted. I bought the DLC even though FS25 is now released. I purchased the winch and drove my trust ole Tractor to the Shop to pick it up. It does not attach to the front nor the rear. Maybe I need another attachment that hooks to the tractor and winch hooks to it. So I google and search for the answer. Every YouTube i find with how to video about attaching winch to tractor, basically has a guy driving his
$350, 000- $450,000 Forestry Machine with the winch attached. Can anyone tell me does the Winch even attach to a tractor? I would purchase a newer tractor with more HP if needed, but I'm kinda bummed I purchase the DLC and the winch only to find out I need a Quarter of a Million dollar vehicle to attach it to. At that price I'm shocked the winch doesn't come with the vehicle. Anyone? Is there another piece I need? If so what is it called? Maybe the manufacturer to make finding it easier. Or am I just out of luck? Appreciate any help. Thanks

Hi, I too have the Platinum DLC and tested the winch out. I bought the Tajfun EGV 65 winch to use as it only needs 60hp. To attach it you'll need to reverse onto it and use your PTS attachment. It may be that your tractor needs configuring in the workshop to have a PTS on the rear.
The tractor I used was just a regular tractor picked up in the sale.

Any vanilla tractor with 3-point connection and more than suggested HP should be able to use that winch tool.

With 'some' Modded tractors, there might be limits if and where the tractor has proper PTO (the yellow tube) connection type - some might only have it at back or the front for example even if both offer "3-point" connection or they may offer PTO without "correct" type to the winch to connect to.

If/When you get the winch to connect to the tractor, pay close attention to your F1 menu information about the controls of the winch as they might not be the most.. logical.. when you first try to figure it out. Most of the stuff you can, and need, to outside the vehicle.
