3 years later: FS 22 is a good game and FS 25 is just a "cash grab."
I've played FS 19 for years and love it - although it has its quirks.
FS 22 has had some time to work out many of its issues and settle in. Time also allows for the player-created mod library to build up & get refined.
I'd suggest giving FS 25 some time to settle in & get refined ...
Also 700 hours speaks for itself but i run a heavily modded game too ....Modders really make FS a game worth playing
I've got over 1500 hrs in FS 19. As I said earlier, I'll be getting FS 22 this holiday season.
They don't resell previously released content as the "season pass". Anything released in paid DLCs is always new content (with the caveat that there may be low-quality, unofficial mods of select items floating around previously). Yes, the paid DLCs are not always of interest to everyone, but they are almost always positively received by some - can't please everyone 100% of the time. Sometimes, someone else gets something they want while you do not...
What they do is add some paid DLC items from the previous release to the shop of the current release, and remove some of the less popular items from shop of the previous release and release them as free Mods on ModHub for the current release (look for mods published by GIANTS). This is a means of managing "bloat" in the game archives, as well as a compromise required to support consoles.
season passes are 100% cut content to be sold as a "season pass" say what you want but i know the truth
I am playing on a PC too and could care less about conslows and their limited slots
I will also add i have never paid full price for any of their games and see no reason to start now when they are churning out the next version i might buy it or if a sale happens with a deep discount . I never pay full price for any game and i dont plan to ever
If you "know the truth", then show up with facts, not just random rhetoric. I'll gladly receive any factual evidence that any paid DLC includes content that was contained in the previous version.
Like you, I am a PC player, and while I may not enjoy the compromises made to accommodate console players (and PC players with older/less-capable gear), PC still brings many advantages, like the ability to use mods containing scripts and looser restrictions on branding/licensing.
As with all things, if you think you can do better, then go do it.
What do you mean previous versions? the game is already 100% finished all the content to come in season 1 is finished giants is not "working on new content" the game is complete and content is "CUT" to sell as a season pass why this is so hard for you to comprehend is beyond me ....... And also i dont get this if i could do better go do it ? what exactly are you saying here cause nowhere did i ever say that i could make a better game or anything of the sort .......
PC gaming has huge issues today with people being happy to pay 100+ $ for a game with a season pass that you dont even "OWN" anymore you just get a licence to play which is a massive joke and a slap in the face to everyone who plays games
as far as "cut content" this is no secret or conspiracy its a known thing these corperations do today its a real thing not mythology lol
