Multiplayer alternatives in the different fs games?

Is there a farming simulator that offers players to play with friends against eachother ergo each running their own farm and competing in like amount land, income etc?

Most MP Maps are able to. Just have a look at your desired Map and Check how much Farms etc etc are placed. Then you can decide which Map you wanna play with your Friends and also can compete against each other ;-)

Thanks. but can you describe a bit more in depth how the vs mode works?

There is no "vs" as you describe it - it's simply up to you - choose a map with a decent number of farms (4x maps would be best for this - eg. "The Oaks" by farm Sim Brisco (or his more recent "Vintage Oaks") but there are many other maps and several smaller maps have 3 or more farms. Then set up a multiplayer game (either hosting it yourself or using a paid hosting server) and create your own challenges (the only limit is your imagination).

Aside from that the only "Competitive" modes in the game are the "Arena Mode" and "Bale Stacking" - you get to those via the "Multiplayer" option on the main menu.

Can't help you more with any of the above as I have never played multiplayer. Google is your friend....

Yeah i have been googling and looking around. But never found more info then the arena mode you mentioned ergo why i asked here hoping someone who played might have a better inkling. But thanks for the info man

Basically you can play all maps in MP, let your Imagination run wild. You even could use the Standard Elmcreek Map and build 2, 3 or more Farrms on it, then use this as your Standard MP Start. Like TheOriginalMark said, there is no Limit.
Also, 4x Maps are usually best suited for MP Scenarios, because there are enough Fields and usually more than 1 Farm placed. I'm from Germany and play "Landkreis Rostock" in Multiplayer. Two Cow Farms ( one is HUGE), oone Pig Farm, one Sheep and Horse Farm each and a Contractor Area.

When you play with your Friends, you could also use the Invoices Mod and or other Mods that help with managing Jobs between you and your other Players.

I remember seeing such map for competitive farming, it was like an old Warcraft map mirrored between two half lands, should be on the modhub or else you could easily find somewere else, but i don't remember the name sorry.
