Darkness in fs22
how to adjust the brightness more in the game.

Are you having trouble seeing at night, or what is this question about?

Edit: If this is about a general lack of brightness in FS22, then I think you should look at your setup instead. Maybe get your monitor checked / calibrated. FS22 is plenty bright.

There is an in game brightness control. On the main menu. Go to Options > Display settings..
I turn up the brightness because it looks dark to me as well. It always seems like I am wearing sunglasses.

Right. It's one of those annoying ones, that does not show up once a map have been loaded.

It's just the way light is rendered in the engine - makes too many hard shadows where light should be. Maybe one day a new engine that handles it better - but probably not in this age of development recycling.
