If you want an all around approach to mods, the KingMods is the best place to go. FS22.com is another but again, just depends on how much of a bad boy you wanna be and download a "stolen mod" (again don't wanna upset DJGoHam and ruin the community by doing so). Have I downloaded a stolen questionable mod? Who hasn't? Done it a bunch in American Truck Sim. Wasn't gonna pay $40 for a truck...but different story.
You can check Facebook as well for mods, most of those will link to itch.io pages or mega or mediafires places. Yea exhibit caution with 3rd party sites but at the same time, don't trust everything off the modhub either. And display caution with Facebook groups....their drama filled last time i checked...a certain mod group, big mod group, was bashing smaller modders...imagine if that ever got out.
