Can't seem to cut trees with the chainsaw...

Hi!
So i try to cut trees or branches of trees with a chainsaw and it doesn't cut it even if the circle around the tree is green. I click and nothing happens.
Sometimes , but rarely , it works but most of the time it doesn't and is so annoying to do forestry.

For the record, i own the land that i am trying to cut trees from and i don't have any mods that influence forests or chainsaw mods or anything like that, just some forestry equipment (for example Scorpion king cutter thingy).

Anyone has this problem or just me?

I run into that issue every time I start logging and I have dozens of cords of logs down. I find that if I hop into a vehicle and back out it will work, sometimes only for a few cuts and often for ten to twenty minutes.
Sometime I will TAB into several vehicle to get it to work properly. I have quite a few mods so I assumed that it was my mod load and not the base game, guess that was wrong.

Try turning away from the tree then open chainsaw and click to operate then turn back towards the tree.

My chainsaw is also buggy. I have found that switching to the chainsaw while looking at anything cutable caused the saw to not function. As long as I look away and switch to the saw, I can cut.

If you are using a "super strength" mod that can interfere with the chainsaw on occasion. As mentioned above jumping in and out of a vehicle works because it resets your "things in my hands" state. Sometimes turning super strength on and off or picking something up and dropping it will fix it. It especially happens if you "throw" something - super strength seems to think you are still holding it.

Didn't tried those out...will do even if it makes it work a bit better. Thanks.

Sadly, it didn't work...it seems to work randomly by equiping the chainsaw and unequip it but it takes so long to make it work just for once. Thanks for the tip thou.

I do have "super strenght" on so that may be it...i'll try to deactivate it in my save and see how it performs. Thanks for the help.
