Maybe you want to check out the map Spring Creek. Easily to find via google. It is not the most detailed map, however it is somewhat special because of its size. Standard map size is 2km x 2km - 4km². This one ist 16km x 16km - 256 km². A map, 64 times bigger than the standard Giants maps. Quite amazing, especially because it's not just huge squared fields.

And if this is too much for you, simply search google for 4x maps. There are a lot out there already, some of them are actually playable.

If you think they are ugly. This is how the farming country looks like in America anyways. When Giants tries to do an American map they seem to not get it right at all!! Open country rolling hills and no tight bridges or anything like that. Can’t say anything about how the euro maps look compared to real life. Reality is super empty and lots of field.

To be fair, most american maps are "overdone", way overdone . Giants can't really get it right either (pretty sure the French countryside is more...green), either way, but Goldcrest and Westbridge are the closest they'll ever be. Huron County isn't meant to be beautiful as big fields usually mean little to no scenery. Download County Line or something that'll make our PC explode if you want "beaunty"

You dont.
You can get 4x, 16x and 64x maps, but thats about as big as they get so far.
