Reset controls?

is there a way to reset just the gamepad to the right? i dont want to wipe the other binds

for context i mean if u have had 2 remotes combined each with custom bindings theres 2 rows showing each set of custom bindings and i only want to wipe one column

I don't think so but if you want to test if the "Reset" option only affects the gamepad settings when you are on the gamepad page you can backup the file "inputBinding.xml" in Documants/My Games/FarmingSimulator2022 first and restore it you need to.

so im finding a file here called "input bindings" is that the one or does it have to be the xml?

also would i just drag it to desktop reset in game then drop it back in?

The file name is as I showed it including the case "inputBindings" (your settings may leave off the .xml extension). And generally speaking just dragging to the desktop will MOVE the file rather than COPY it so no, you should copy and paste.
