How do I attach a weight to the front of my tractors?

I pull up the the weight, but the menu doesn't change. Q only attaches/unattaches the back tool. How do I switch focus to the front tool?

First make sure that your tractor actually has a front attach. Make sure that you approach the weight from the correct side.

What tractor were you trying to use?
Is it Vanilla or modded?

And as @TheOrinalMark said, make sure that he tractor 'has' a front 3-point connector (or any other type if using modded equipment - also note that weight might not work with vehicles other than what they very made for!). Not all tractors have that by default or at all.

And yes: The sides of the weight matter. It's easy to confuse the right and wrong ways!

Doesn't matter. We should encourage certain basic formatting when asking for assistance, which includes differentiating between vanilla and modded content - as the modded content can in some cases use much different logic when compared to vanilla mechanics.

For example, in this case there could very well be a mod-specific tool/vehicle combination in play.

Good call on the wrong side of the weight. Silly me, I assumed the games default start with the weight in front of the tractor and the seeder behind it would have had the weight in the proper orientation.

The store place all the equipement from the same side, it doesn't make a distinction between front or back, it put the attach forward.
It's always a pain in crammed spaces when you have to attach a combine header or a two pieces mower.
