Planting shouldn't matter if it's raining or snowing, harvesting there's a little flashing warning as it have a yeld penalty.
Unless you use the "Real Mud" mod in which case rain will bog down your equipment (tedious but more realistic).

thanks
anyway I sent the AI driver to plough the field and he did it under the snow

but I think I´ll wait the rain to plough/harvest the bigger field

p.s. I was using the agromasz xl, just now I found out that I could use a 8m subsoiler instead

I completely ditched plows and cultivators in favor of subsoilers.

as a newbie, I didn´t know they existed.

I turned off regular plowing but the potatoes need it anyway after every harvest.

Once I rented a cultivator and it didn´t work on my soil. But the subsoiler is what I needed.

I try to work with the bigger, better machines available if not I just stick to sheeps.

I change my months to at least 10 days and check every day if the thing I need is on sale. At the moment I need the Biggest Subsoiler and a decent forklift

In the modhub there is the "LIZARD Subsoiler 6MT/9MT" (you'll find it under "Subsoilers") by Blacksheep Modding. I've used it for years. Comes in 6m and 9m, $17,000/$19,000 models and can also be used to create fields.

Is it that thing that you can attach either on the front or the back?
That thing is a must have! :D
That's the one, you can have the subsoiler on the front and a cultivator or seeder on the back (given the horsepower).

If you are looking for a large plow the mod hub has the John Deere 2410 by J.A. Modding. 16.7M and needs 320 hp.

This one's good if you're looking for a 6m wide one that actually exists. I try to stay away from Lizard equipment, personally. Let the console uses have the made up equipment.

illgib mentioned Kuhn, I like their little 4m for smaller fields. I almost always end up owning one.

The base game Agrisim Cultiplow is another good one I use often at 8m. Courseplay seems to miss small pieces of field and I have to go back over some. If your OCD can handle that though, it's a good subsoiler.

Exactly - and its the perfect tool to create new fields with without having to fix uneven borders afterwards.

btw: If you tun the subsoiler around HP are much less of a problem in the setup you mentioned. ^^
Its a cheesy feature and if anyone asks -> I did'nt say anything. :D

That's lovely too, but i don't like that most vanilla ss are stubble cultivator, i have three, all from mods, that have deep soil enabled, how they should in reality.
Makes no sense a deep cultivator to not work "deep" :D
