FS25 graphics rant
I'm going to preface this saying that this is a gripe I've had for a long time. I will sound very pissy, and that's intentional, but I'm trying to make a valid criticism.

If the graphics haven't had a huge revamp in FS25, I'm not buying it. Since FS19 there has been almost 0 actually meaningful and noticeable graphics changes. I'm not saying that Farming Sim isn't a pretty game - it certainly is. But in today's gaming scene the devs could be doing so much more with the visuals. Motion blur, improved water, better sunflares, and please I beg you better textures. Some of the games coming out now are breathtaking and leaps ahead of FS. Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, despite its flaws, was one of the most beautiful pieces of media I've ever seen - movie, picture, game, whatever. I'm not asking for every square inch of the game to look like Koboh, but even older games like BeamNG Drive are looking a lot better than FS nowadays. I was shocked when I saw the screenshots in the announcement at how bad they looked - I really hope these are just early pre-release images, because the shadows and the colour looks like FS17. The game hasn't changed anything really since FS22, and I feel like nobody's talking about it.

Thanks for reading my unhinged rant, byee

Gameplay is what counts not how less plastic something looks.

i care more about gameplay and physics. FS22 looks amazing unless you're playing on a potato graphics card. besides they said they improved the graphics engine majorly that's why the ps4 and xbox one won't have this game. besides you can't judge this game's graphics by looking at screenshots or a cinematic trailer
I just wanted to buy FS22, but after seeing FS25 I might wait for the game to release, idk if It's worth it, probably isnt
Since the game releases before Autumn sells, it might get discounted, or maybe it will get a discount on the winter sales

I play on max settings on an RTX 3060 and a Ryzen 7 5800H. It looks like FS19, which itself looked good... in 2019. Five years ago.

This is true but only to an extent. As everyone here knows, the physics, simulation and driving of FS isn't exactly top notch. Might as well dress it up pretty if you're not going to entirely revamp everything.

not everyone cares about about graphics considering the majority of people are still using a 10 series GPU. I have a radeon rx 7900 xt with a ryzen 7 7800x3d on max settings and Zielonka looks better than FS19 in general.

Actually according to Steam charts the top 5 are:

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 6.01%
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 4.38%
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti 3.73%
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 3.64%
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 3.59%

Considering the rate how Giants put out games, you'll never buy one :D

We all want better graphics however I feel like its better that they focus on improving physics and game play over graphics

I don´t have a PC gamer, I have a notebook that I use to work, I´m completely okay with FS 2022 graphics, they are good enough and run smoothly on my pc. I don´t like playing games with 16 bit graphics like Stardew Valley, but other day somebody said that "FS 22 has playstation 2 graphics". This people never played PS2 in his life....

A shop with real maint on vehicles

stuff like this :steamhappy:

I can already see by the pre-rendered trailer and the crappy looking gameplay pictures it's going to be the exact same garbage FS has always been.

The physics could use a big improvement but we'll never get that.

Is somebody forcing you to buy it? The solution to your gripe is simple...

Dont buy it.
