Wind Turbine: opinions
I´m a noob playing my first save (can be seen here : https://steamcommunity.com/app/1248130/discussions/0/6725643950983866316/ ) and in a few months I´ll get like 180k for selling clothes.

I´ve decided my next step would be purchase a near land and another barn to continue with the sheep business. This time I´d make the design more intelligent, meaning that the wool delivery spot would be very close the spinnery receiving spot. My first two terrains weren´t that planned so I have to drive around too much, my forklift is already with 27 hours of good work.

So to start this new operation I thought about buying a new forklift for that terrain only, and I was thinking about getting an electrical one (I borrowed once the bigger one and I still love the model I have but I wanted another only to be in a different colour to make easier to organize) and then I was going to see if I could recharge it at my farm so I ended in the shop finding out that WIND TURBINES (and solar panels) exists.

For 130k a medium turbine looks like printing money after a while, almost cheating. I do a good amount of grind with my 6 sheep barns, spinneries and taylor houses and this energy thing looks so easy (except the BGA that you have to take care of the pigs).

I mean on the third terrain I already wanted to make my life a bit easier putting the buildings near each other. On the other side my game already has 60 hours and I worked my socks off and didn´t progressed a lot, not a surprise since Im a new player in FS series playing on level hard and economy hard, so I kind of deserve a bit extra income so I can enjoy the good things of the game like buying a fancy Truck, more terrain, etc.

I want to keep the sheep business yet but I´m a bit overwhelmed and could get more and more money with less job but I´m afraid the game would lose its appeal. In other side with the comfort of the extra money I could experience more things without too much risk like planting new goods, etc.

TLDR: What´s your thoughts about wind turbines, do you ignore it or use it to print money?

I don't like to use passive income methods like that personally. One thing you should know is that the advertised monthly income of solar panels and wind turbines is kind of a lie, realistically you'll get half or 1/3 of that

I don't use passive income either. I will occasionally put a solar panel by my house for decorating purposes, but usually by the time I'm doing stuff like that, money's not a problem anymore.

IMHO those passive generators are for new players, or people who are just bad at the game. Kind of like how I think contracts are for new players learning the ropes as there's no penalties for not completing them and you get to keep any extras from them.

Like the previous poster said, the money listed for wind turbines and solar panels is a possible max income in perfect conditions, which never happens. You'll see a lot less.

It seems like you're conflicted between a good income and feeling like your cheating. I would suggest, either on this map, or the next, buying the BGA and focusing on silage. You can harvest grass three times a year. If you enjoy making bales, like me, the BGA is excellent income, and naturally leads you to cows and pigs, as the BGA also accepts manure and slurry.

Depending on your BGA size and economic settings, if you keep it well supplied, a 100k income a month is not an unreasonable figure at all, allowing you some freedom for more less profitable pet projects.

Even if it´s 1/3 it would be significant for me

This was exactly the conflict. About the BGA Its the long term goal of this save.
I´m ok with getting easy money with BGA because I´ll have my effort dose before and during it to get the goods to be processed there.

For the moment I just skipped the generator and bought more land and another sheep barn instead. It´s just not the problem with the passive income, but I want to get money with animals/crops not play an Energy Tycoon Manager game
