It's more a pure sandbox farming game, were you make what you want to make without actual goals, you can tend animals, grow crops or do forestry.
It all boils down on how much you're into sandobx and simulator games.
I'm playing this game for similar reasons. Watched Clarksons Farm.
I have only a few hours into the game. It's short on info so you have to spend some time checking out youTube vids. The help section of the game is absolute rubbish.
I believe you can make the game as realistic as you like if you want to use some of the mods. I'm not using mods at this stage as I'm still only a new chum. But it's much closer to a sim then Stardew.
To answer your post,IMHO it will scratch that itch nicely...well it has for me anyway.
It will scratch that itch for sure, just like Clarkson you will have to learn the basics for each machine/tool. Youtube tutorials will be your Kaleb.. Its a very relaxing game.
Sorry, OP. He's a regular spammer.
As other stated, it's a sandbox. It can be played in various ways.
Maybe go watch a few videos about this game?
Yesh I think I will do.
