Kuhn HR 4040 Seeder not losing seed

Ok So I got the Kuhn HR 4040 seeder and ran it over my property to seed but oddly I noticed the seed never went below 100% in the hopper. I figured something was wrong but didn't do anything.

Well tonight I took a contract and went and harvested the property and when I returned I noticed my field was green (think green it's night time) and when I looked at the field it said Canola was growing.

So is there a bug in this where seed amount does not diminish as you seed a field???
