Low FPS and Lag

Hello, I just bought a new pc, 7 5700x , rtx 4070, 16gb 3600 ram, I play the game on max settings, and I get barely 70 fps, often the game stutters, sometimes I get even less than 60fps, how could I improve it? I don’t this it’s the graphics , I also play in 1080p and my gpu utilisation is about 10% when playing, cpu like 20%, not even, is there chance how to make it run more % and get more fps?

Is it as matter of waiting for the shader cache to populate? Maybe take a few minutes and drive around the map and see if it resolves.

Also, at max settings, for this engine, 70 fps isn't that bad. I see you have 90+ hours in game. What fps was your old rig getting?

Well that new PC isn't that impressive. Did you expect miracles?
Also, what the hell is wrong with 70 FPS?
Turn down stupid settings, set DLSS to balanced or quality and let us know if it helped.

EDIT: Re-reading your post. You use a 1080p monitor? WTH? lol :) But with that low a rez you should be getting higher FPS. Are you sure all drivers are up to date?
I run FS22 on a 4k screen with a RTX 3070ti (+ R7 7800X3D paired with 32GB 6MT RAM) and always get a solid 60 FPS (monitor is 60Hz). Something is wrong with your setup.

Trying to undermine someone by saying "that new PC isn't that impressive" isn't really helpful to be honest. Their PC is more than powerful enough for this game, it may not be the super top notch PC you have, but its what they could afford and what they wanted.

This is most likley your issue, you can search these forums for many other threads just like this one:

I have a 46 core, 7GHz CPU, with an RTX 7090ti 64GB, with 512GB DDR8 RAM and getting stutters in my game, I can play other unrelated games built on more powerful game engines at 16k at 500fps what the hell?

- alright I may have over exaggerated a little there but you get the point, and more often than not, its all because of an issue - a known issue with the game engine where it takes time creating a shader cache, you just got to let it do its thing I am afraid, just keep playing the game and it will eventually smooth out.

If it doesn't after at least 30 minutes then you may have another problem, but as I said this normally fixes this issue.

Don't keep changing your graphics settings it isn't anything to do with that, and if anything it will make it take longer, this can happen after a major game update or from a fresh install, or if you have just installed a load of mods... just let the game do its thing.

Eventually it will smooth out and it will be fine, and I also thought this game was soft-locked to 60fps anyway, and I be honest with you, why do you need more than 60fps when you are traveling up and down a field at 15 mph?

Alright , thanks for the suggestions, i downloaded all drivers, i use geforce experience for the gpu drivers, i will try everything, thanks for the suggestions tho :)

Do that. And as a note (to those), I do like to help.
DLSS works wonders in this game. But with strange side effects. A lot of weird blurring.

I have DLSS On on quality, and isnt the utilisation too low for both? never had it like that, last pc rig i had had a 1660 super, i5-8400 16gb, It stutter for like 3 hours, but then it was smooth, i didnt play it in max settings

At 1080p with that PC (as I wrote before) you should get a steady, great FPS.

I just never had or played on powerful pc like this, i always played on medium or low settings and i was happy to play :D

There is one thing, you have to learn then. Even old games can put a powerful PC to shame, if you just crank up everything to max. Do not crank everything to max. Maybe learn about what those settings are. DLSS, as I suggested, is just an upscaler paired with AA.

Short: Your new PC cannot run everything at max. And it does not have to.

EDIT: My PC "wants" a 4080 Super. But even with that, I cannot "max" in all games.
