Multiplayer problem

Hi guys,
I have a problem with joing my friend multiplayer server. He also cannot join to mine. It always shows that can't connect to the server. How can we fix it ?

We boyh had the same mods, but even on vanilla we cannot play toghether.

hi :) i don't know your network-setup but it'is most likely a problem with your ports. when you start your server you get asked about a password and also ports.. maybe you just need to activate upnp so fs22 will setup the network itself if all your routers and switches do support it. if not you will habe to portfoward port 10823 (i think that's the standard) in your router/modem-setup to your pc.
