Picking up straw bales

Hi everyone,

After recently getting into gardening in real-life, I also fancied a bit of farming on the PC so I went and bought this game, I'm glad there's so much to learn and pick up and so I'm taking it one step at a time.
At the beginning of the game (New Farmer, Elmcreek), I harvested a wheat field, and sold the wheat. Next I hired a baler and made 3 nice round bales. I bought a flat-bed with the intention of loading them on and selling them when I realised the bales were too heavy. Undeterred, I went out and bought some equipment, I seemingly kept buying the wrong thing as none of the front things would fit on to the front of the tractor (Albutt bale spike and a paladin bale spear if I remember correctly). Eventually I bought a Fliegl Schmetterling and this meant I could pick up the bales, but it doesn't raise them high enough to be able to load onto my trailer, so here are a couple of questions:

o What piece of equipment is it that I need to be able to pick up bales and load them?
o How do I tell what front bits of equipment fit on my tractor and what don't?
o I'm guessing there are different attachments?

Under most of the objects in the store there's a C key that show what go with what.
Or inside a category, like you bought a frontloader spike, can be coupled with a frontloader arm, that need an attachement on the tractor, that not all have thouh.
Or there are a couple of bale loading wagon in the store, but are on the big size.
In the modhub there are some smaller if you're on smaller scale farming.

Brilliant response, thank you. Following that advice with the C key led me to understand that what I was missing was a front loader on the front. Now I'm starting to understand! Thank you again friend.
