So I’m new to pc gaming don’t really know much but I bought a nice computer and I’m having issues with mods that other people seem to use with no problem I use king mods and fs22 mods I’ve heard they are safe but don’t really know what site is the most reliable when I try use some mod vehicles my game starts being slow like when I’m driving or moving the camera it’s like it’s in slow motion and then some will be working fine and I go to play the next day and all of sudden it has the same issue or I’ve also had a mod vehicle work complete fine then I change the wheels from the first option to something else and then it’ll start doing the slow motion thing as well so not sure what’s causing this to happen like I said I don’t know much about computers or mods but getting quite aggravated that I spent a lot of money on a nice computer and can’t seem to use much more than the modhub stuff any help is appreciated

OP: That is not a "nice computer".

It all depends on their settings, if not too cranked up it could run well, but bigger maps can be a pain to play.

I have a 2060s playing 1080p, and even in vanilla maps if i look straight into the orizon i get fps drops.

The engine it's not that forgiving since it have several years on it's back.

1080p is, by far, also the most used res on Steam.
That does not make it "nice".

its very possible those mods are not optamized correctly, if they are not on modhub they are not tested by giants.

if the mod has to many poly counts it could impact performance.

the best way to find out what mod is causing the issues is to do the 50/50 method.
you can do this by removing 50 percent of the mods from your mod folder, and test the game. keep doing this 50 50 method untill you narrow it down to 1 mod

Some warnings can be ignored, but errors have to be addressed. If it says is can't load the .xml, then that's a problem. Also, I think it's possible that the "fov" mod could be causing the camera problems you were referring to.

If you can deal with a mod that has some issues, your game, your choice. I choose to run with a clean log. I'll ignore some definition warnings, or "this texture is too big" warnings if I really love the mod, but error mods have to go.

Even if a mod seems like it's working right on the outside, doesn't mean it's not affecting things on the inside. You're log's not too bad, but since your're having some issues, I'd start with those error mods.

I'd still be curious to see the other part of that log.

i posted two on pastebin was going to do the whole thing but lost my place and dindt feel like trying to find where i was. i have the fov control mod downloaded but i dont have it active in game so idk why thats coming up. im about to post my recent log on here since i updated the map

Listen: If you are new to PC-gaming, you might want to take it a little slower on the modding of things.
