if I attach something (mower) to the front end on the 3-point will it still work
I realize by rights it shouldn't but just asking

It probably will work.

If in doubt before buying, make a test-map and add some silly amount of money.
On the map you can then test all sort of (also silly) things, before making a wrong purchase on your main save.

I always (even after 1k+ hours) have a test-map ready.

EDIT: I just tested it (Vario 1050) and it works with a front mower.
Funny, never noticed it. And I've used this machine a lot :)

That's actually correct. The real-life 1000 doesn't have a front PTO. So if front PTO tools still work on it, then that's the actual bug.

I seem to remember using a baler hooked up to the Krone BigX. Worked :)

EDIT: Must've been in FS19 or earlier, does not work now. THAT bug got swatted :)

Maybe. But it were only for fun. I do most harvesting "correctly" :)

I have to ask: Do you know what a PTO is?
The picture looks like the Vario does in-game. No PTO.
Also, if reading (skimming, could've missed something) the document, there is no option for a front PTO. It even seems the rear PTO is optional.
This machine was build for pulling heavy ♥♥♥♥, not mowing a lawn :)

The same material you posted, as well as some magazine websites with test reports about the 1000.
Here's the product brochure of the 939, also from Fendt:

Look at page 11 of the PDF, on the right side. You should be able to spot the obvious yellow round protector sleeve around the PTO in the front. Neither the protector nor the PTO are present on the 1000's front.

Most of the time a front PTO will be an Option on a new tractor, and i am betting a pretty costly option. I have seen maybe 1 tractor with a front PTO around where i live so i am not certain just how popular they really are. Even hydraulics on the front might present a problem due to the GPM the pump can put out vs what the tractor is doing. I would be curious to know just how un realistic some of the things done in FS22 are just for that reason.
