Brush removal

Is there an easier way to remove brush from where you dont want it? I seen there is a brush removal tool available but I cannot seem to get it to work. Perhaps I am just doing something wrong. I dont know. When trying to put the tool inside my pickup truck, my character does all kind of weird and crazy things. Can someone tell me if that mod is bugged or if I am just not using it right.

have you tired the Paint And Terraform Anywhere mod ? you can paint the bushes gone and then paint grass back down
