I need help filling up lime spreader

Please help ive watched many tutorials on how to fill it up they say to use The R key But it does nothing for me PLease help

Generally you buy some lime in big bags or whatever, park the lime spreader right beside it and press R. Personally I usually install the "Multi fruit buy Station" mod and use that, much easier.

If you've bought the lime in bulk and dumped it from a trailer onto the ground pressing 'R' wouldn't work though... you'd need to open the cover and load it manually - eg: using a front loader attachment and bucket on your tractor.
