Need to buy, no. There's never a need to buy.

But if you got 1,5 Euro to spend and want two tractors and support Giants, go for it.

If you want the pack then yes you need to buy it. Not all the DLC is part of the season pass.

One reason I don't buy in to the season pass. They'll inevitably introduce DLC which is not covered in an effort to make more money.

The Farmall pack is not really a dlc, it´s just additional content. Steam has no option for such things so it´s marked as a dlc.

You guys have to see it different, they have long-term plans for content but they also add short term stuff when a new manufacturer comes up to them and want their machines added for example. In this case, case came up and asked for doing a small "birthday" special, so stuff like that is for sure not included in the season pass as it was not precalculated.
