Max Bees
Is there a max amount of bee hives I can have?

Also how far away can I place them from the pallet collector?

Not sure if there is a limit for 'amount' of Hives, except your capacity to empty the collection spot. Even the "internal storage" of Honey seems to be quite large.

Also, there is no limit on distance between Hive and Collection Spot --- AS LONG AS they're within the same plot! Even if you own two plots, you can't "grow honey" in one and "collect" in other, they have to be within the same boundaries.

I assume what ProviD means by "plot" is Farm. I have had about 10 beehives dotted all over a map all feeding the one collection point. You can only have one collection point per farm on a map that has multiple farms.

There is a mod called "More Honey Pallet Place Options" in Modhub which allows many more pallets to spawn at a time.

Yes, indeed. Wasn't sure about the terminology game uses, always get it confused with IRL.

Around here you own "Plots", not "Farms". Your Farm is usually a unit of several Plots of land and/or forest - even if they were disconnected from each other.

So.. Honey Collecting is map-wide? Interesting!

Well, obviously you need to own any land that you want to place a beehive on but it does not matter where on the map it is.
