Mod Site Suggestions?
I'm looking for older machinery to far with but the official site mods are lacking several models/brands I want to use. Kingmods looks promising but I'm unsure how safe mods are.

Kingmods is a safe site and probably the nr 2 site people go to after ModHub. They also credit the modder and link to them or link back to the ModHub.

I use Kingmods on occasion. I would still recommend trying those mods out in a seperate save and checking your log before integrating them into your main game. But I'd suggest that for all mods not downloaded from the official hub.

As far as other mods sites with relatively safe stuff, I also use LS-Modcompany, FSminer, Forbidenmods, and a few others.

Fs22.com is safe and doesn't use an external download site. Its the only site I use for mods.
Other than the official mod hub I'd only use kingmods as suggested and also LSFM (https://www.lsfarming-mods.com/)

LSFM is really good for PC only mods, lots of mods that add things to the game you won't find anywhere else. They have a John Deere pack with MFD's that actually display live info and the map 'Hof Bergmann' which has a lot of cool features not seen in any other map I have tried such as cheese making, fishing and baking bread and many other unique features.

The site is in German but google translates for you in the top right just switch it ;)

I wish kingmods hosted the mods themselves because most of the dl sites look really shady. Wish more people used itch.io.
