Any advice/tips for a beginner?

Hi everyone, i bought this game recently, i haven't played fs before. So far i'm enjoying it but i find it hard figuring out what to do next, i wanna learn more stuff that you can do, animals etc. but it's a bit owerwhelming. Right now what im doing is just cultivating, seeding, collecting and selling the most basic grain. Tried contract job too. The game doesn't really tell you how to learn new things so yeah any advice?

Theres no wrong or right in what to do next or how you play the game.
Maybe watching some "lets play" or tutorials would help or give ideas?

There are many aspects to this game you could explore.
You mention animals which are great but preparation will help you.
Keep selling grain and do more contracts until you have enough money to maybe buy a production for your grain.
Or you could buy field/equipment to make silage and sell that, again you have many many choices.
Watching a few tips and tricks videos and how to get started videos may help you but I also would like to point out some other resources too.

Best early money makers. Grow grain to feed to chickens to sell eggs. A large chicken coop will pay for itself in a year. Grow grass. Bale and wrap it to make Silage. And since you are growing grass buy Sheep. Wool and eventually Cloth and clothes makes a lot of money. Later, since you are growing grain, Grainery to make Flour then Bakery to make Bread. Bread sells for good money. And Solar is Free money, but it requires a substantial initial investment so not so good early.

Contracts are a great way to actually learn by doing, they give you the correct tools to perform the job needed and give you an idea of what needs to be done and how.

Animals are overwhelming at first I agree, the help topics will tell you what they like to eat but you don't have to stress about it, they won't die its fine. Just they won't produce without the right amount of feed. So learn it at your own pace is what I suggest.

believe it or not large amout of sugarbeet can help also you can make sugarbeet cut out of it is 50% more then just selling the sugarbeet or you can refine it to sugar but then you have to buy a sugar production
