1 - I don't know on which equipement you use it (pc, xb5, other consol, ect) but i know this controler don't work with all,
2 - you say you have playing with before, but now it's don't work, i don't know if it's can help but this type of controler need driver, so make sure they are up to date,
3 - you have made a clean install, but when you have put again all the option, in the option of the game, do you have put the option to "yes", in the option "activate controller"?
4 - You can look too into the keybinding option when you enter in the map to view if all your key you put are there, usually when you enter in it they show the keybinding for the keyboard, but you need to change to go to the controller to look if all your key are there,
5 - Some update to Steam can reset the controller option not only for the game but in the Steam option for controller too,
6 - you can try this too :
When you are in Steam, look in the left bottom option and click "steam / settings / controller / general controller settings, and uncheck the box for all controller, close steam , restart pc and launch again farming Simulator 2022,
or you can try to keep only one controller checked such as the generic one, but begin by trying in desactivate all the controller because your controller use and outside program and it's can conflict with the one you can let's activate in the steam option...,
for now it's all the thing i think, but if you play on a pc it's sure they mush work because some other use it..., but it's surely a small thing you have forgot to make...
This, omg. As if there was even a option for this -.-
Thanks
Logitech Heavy Equipment Side Panel Steps to fix it:
Right Click FS22 in Steam Library > settings > controller > disable
Disable Eye Tracking if turning view inside vehicle is not working:
In game menu > General Settings > Head/Eye Tracking: Off
(You will have to manually re-map some buttons that are no longer auto-mapped after the Big Picture update in 2022)

I just purchased the Logitech heavy equipment side panel (previously produced by Saitek) and want to also report the joystick gets locked to the left after pushing either button on top of the joystick, or after using the left scroll wheel. Also, button 17 or 22 locks the top d-pad button so that buttons 17-20 (which correspond to the D-pad buttons) don't work correctly. The panel can be reset by unplugging and replugging into the USB port.
I think the problem is with Steam, since testing the joystick in Steam (Steam -> Settings -> Controller -> Begin Test) shows that the joystick gets stuck to the left after pressing the left top button, or using the left scroll wheel. However, testing via Windows joy.cpl and via website shows that the side panel works correctly.
