Needing ideas for a plot of land in Elm Creek...
In my current (And first) playthrough of Elm Creek, I started on New Farmer with the starter farm, but after a year, bought the field next to it to plant some oats, since I made the mistake of going all Canola on the three fields the starter farm came with. (It took a lot of contracts to get the cash up, that's for sure. lol)

Anyways, while I was looking on the map for more land to buy, I realized I could buy plot 33 (not field 33), which runs along one of the rivers next to the animal dealership, and right next to field 11. It's just a small plot of land, no fields or anything but just (Map) grass.

I was initially going to just plow up a field to replant grass that I could sell for more hay (First thing I did was cut all the grass and sold it as hay), but I think it only has around an acre and a half, maybe two to it. I'm not sure how much grass/hay I could get from just two acres, or if it would benefit more as a cattle pasture, or maybe even a future site of a production/selling point.

I figured I would ask everybody on here what they think might work good for that plot of land. It's too small for a "proper" field, but just large enough to still be usefull.

I forgot to mention that I'm running 3 day seasons/months, not 1 day months.

I think 33 is too irregular to make a good field. Maybe good to place productions on someday. For around the same price you can get 5, 6, 7 or 52. Much squarer and easier to harvest on. I put productions on 7.
And invest in a baler/wrapper. Silage sells for more than twice as much as Hay.

To me plot 33 seems like an ideal location for some sort of storage yard for plot 34s slooped fields which would be ideal for grapes or olives. Do you really want to have to drive all the way up there all the time though? Since your now on my friend list(pending due to other post), look out for me online and I will give you a guided tour of what we have done with Elmcreek so far.
