cow barn with robot feeder...2 straw slots?

Inside the barn , it won't take straw bales. How do I get the bedding then?

You have to dump loose straw inside the barn. You can use a TMR Mixer or Bale Shredder to dump loose straw.

You can also put you bales in a Hay Loft that has a Bale shredder (accepts bales) then load loose straw to dump in your barn.

As EMPFARSEER says, straw for bedding has to be shredded. The other straw slot will be for the robot feeder (1 for straw, 1 for hay, one for silage) and that may take bales (or may not). It then mixes those three into TMR to feed the cattle.
