Grain mill help
Hi, I'm kind of a newbie in this game but I'm starting to get the hang of it.
I just purchased a Grain Mill and planted a bunch of Oat. But after I harvested a small field (around 5000-6000l) and deposited it in the Mill, I started the production, but around 280.000l of Oat appeared in the storage. What could've happened? Does the initial storage you start with contain that amount of Oat?
And let's say the Grain Gods blessed me with a lifetime supply of Oat, so that I can eat Oatmeal for breakfast for the rest of my life. How should I proceed with the Grain Mill. From my understanding, for Oat Flower the recipe is 15 oat -> 19 flower, and the Mill runs 1200 cycles / month. So that's 18.000l of oat/month. Considering the amount of Oat I have, it would take me more than a year to finish processing all of that, and not to mention I still have 4 more fields (small ones tho) full with Oat, ready to harvest. Should I buy more Mills? Or should I leave the Oat alone for a while, and try to get Wheat or Barley? Will the Mill process the Oat in Oat flower and Wheat in Wheat Flour together? Or it will process the Oat and then the Wheat?
I also found out it's more profitable to take the flour to a bakery, so I'm gonna buy a bakery first thing when I have the money.
I know there were a lot of questions, but the game it's kind of overwhelming for me, and the fact that I know next to nothing about farming IRL and the fact that my English isn't perfect, doesn't help. But this game got me, I really like it and I'm eager to learn more. Thanks for reading all of this and thanks for the future replies.
PS: I'm playing with Seasons turned off, because it's easier for me for now.

Don't hijack the thread. Rude.

The mill will process the Oat, Wheat and Barley all at the same time. Why you ended up with the amount of Oats you say I have no idea. As for buying another processing plant, that's up to you, but generally considering how long it take to process, it probably makes more sense to buy a different plant. So after you harvest your remaining Oats, I go and plant Wheat and Barley so the bill can start processing those.

Yeah, I ended up buying a Bakery too, and split the rest of my fields with Wheat and Barley, cuz I won't be needing Oat for a while :))
Thanks for the reply.

I have one grain mill ramped up to run wheat, barley and sorghum all year, and oats for most of the year. This produces enough flour to run 2 regular bakeries and an industrial bakery(=5 regular) and about 180-200k litres of flour left over every year. I sell bread and flour in december, and it is a very happy payday.

It is a little sketchy that the bread stays in a warehouse all year and then is worth more, but that is not my problem
