Game Not Launching

When I launch it looks like it launches for a few seconds before it disappears. I had it working yesterday.

using any mods ? if so take them out and start the game and see if its working again.

but try this first

In Steam, right click on the game, select properties, go to local files tab and press verify integrity of game files.

i have done the verifying files and it still doesn't work, i have mods but they are all mods from the game itself not third party

dosent matter still can be mod conflict

Okay. I have the same problem, since yesterday. I even uninstalled it and reinstalled this morning and it didn't work. I just verified the files this morning and it still isn't working, and like pouchsmeller46, I only installed mods from the game. could it be that there are too many mods installed?

do the game works with out mods ? take the mods out and start a new save with out any mods and with the ingame map and if the game works then its the mods. then take them out and add them few at the time till your get the same problem

Mods are tested independently, but that doesn't mean a combination can't conflict. Especially if they're scripted mods affecting the same thing, like productions for instance.

Okay. I'm still having the same problem. I've verified the files, unsubscribed and resubscribed , I just did another verification of files again, and it still doesn't load. Now, since I can't get this game to load, how am I going to take out ANY mods, if that may be the problem?

Navigate to Documents -> My Games -> FarmingSimulator2022 and delete the contents of the folder "shader_cache" then restart the game.

Look in your %userprofile%\Documents\My Games\FarmingSimulator2022\
There's a folder there called "mods". Delete mods from that folder.

I deleted my "shader_cache" and that fixed my loading problem as well as the sky being blacked out!!

Okay. I got it to launch. Now, I was trying to download the court farm map and it went all the way to 99% and then it said pending and started over and it got to 99% and went to pending and started over. What's going on with that now?

mod conflict take out all the mods and put in court farm only and start a new save if it working then you know
