To get it working I connected the controller to the laptop via bluetooth for wire free connection. I then installed hidhide and ds4win then used hidhide to hide the controller from everything except ds4win and pcsx2.
when playing fs22 on steam with the laptop, only ds4win sees the ps4 controller and it emulates the 360 controller using the ps4 controller. All steam sees it an xbox360 controller which seems to be a good choice with steam.
you could give that a shot.. you need 2x softwares:
ds4windows - to emulate the 360 controller from a ps4 controller.
HidHide - to hide controllers from the system, stopping confusion with multiple controllers.
